Below is a request from a student at Illinois Wesleyan University. She has partnered with a Bloomington-Normal elementary school and is holding an event designed to encourage girls to take part in STEM careers.

We would like to invite STEM guest speakers to give a small talk (10-15 minutes) about their career journey, challenges they have faced in the field, advice to give, etc.
A component we teach in our session is a "Famous Women in STEM" module and so we would like to aim for female-identifying STEM guest speakers, as it is crucial.
Speakers may choose one of 4 time slots: 8:30am-10am, 10:30am-Noon, 2:00pm-3:30pm or 3:30pm-5:00pm
Education staff can assist with training and supplies.
