NETT day is short for NEIU Empowerment Through Technology. It is a day-long workshop at Northeastern Illinois University promoting Technology for Peace, Progress and Prosperity. The goal this year is that the speakers can focus on Artificial Intelligence and how it empowers/impacts various aspects of our society, such as business, education, and human life. It would be ideal if the speaker talks about how Argonne National Lab benefits from AI technologies and how students may be prepared for a career at Argonne.
Ultimately, the topic is flexible and the speaker can decide what to cover. The key is to keep the content less technical (as not everyone is from computer science or has a background in CS) and get students interested and motivated.
