The First Look@Argonne Conference is a half-day info session designed to be an immersive experience for students who are part of an Underrepresented Group (URG) within the U.S. and U.S. Territories. Participants will learn about Argonne's multidisciplinary science portfolio, robust internship programs, and engage with the scientific staff dedicated to this work and developing the next generation of researchers.
If you are interested in participating in this year's First Look @ Argonne and connecting with prospective students, we would love to have you join us! We are seeking 20 volunteers to participate in our speed networking session. Volunteers will meet with students to have a loosely structured conversation where students can learn about life at the lab and career pathways. The end goal is to facilitate connections between students and staff alike in preparation for internship placements.
