New Event! See Yourself in STEAM (USTEAM) is hosted by the Women in Science & Technology (WIST) program in collaboration with Argonne's Educational Programs and Employee Resource Groups - Argonne's African American ERG and Argonne's Hispanic/Latino Club ERG.
About the Event: USTEAM is designed to provide 10th & 11th grade students (estimated # - 50) who belong to underrepresented groups in STEM with an opportunity to learn about science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) careers. The event will include keynote speakers, STEAM expos across the laboratory, and more - https://anl.box.com/v/USTEAMEvent-Agenda. The students will receive a certificate of completion from Argonne WIST Program.
We encourage the participation of all interested employees. Participation of Argonne employees who belong to underrepresented groups in STEM are highly encouraged to volunteer.
