Veterans-ERG

The Argonne Veteran Group is an Employee Resource Group (VET-ERG) that strategically partners with the laboratory in building employee awareness of resources, programs, and activities available to Argonne Veterans, their families, and friends of Veterans. The VET-ERG was formed in alignment with Argonne’s mission, goals, and policies, and is a valuable channel in building a culture that fosters, innovation, leadership development, and unique solutions to everyday challenges.  

The Argonne Veterans Group hosts and partakes in various events, programs, and fundraisers in bringing awareness and support to Veteran needs and support of their day-to-day challenges that many of them face. By partnering with several sources within the Argonne community, and by working with various outside veteran-focused organizations, it enables us to foster a diverse and inclusive belonging that is reflective of the society in which we operate.

The VET-ERG group hosts events at the laboratory that connect Argonne’s Veterans with valuable resources and tools, while also hosting and partaking in fundraising events with related outside organizations. A few of our ANL event partners include Team Red, White, & Blue, Veteran Health and Fitness Group, and Canines for Veterans.
