Pullman Railroad Days Return May 17-18, 2025! Step back in time at the fourth annual Pullman Railroad Days and see history brought to life in this historic town. Explore original Pullman railcars, immerse yourself in unforgettable stories, and enjoy a weekend of family-friendly fun. Don’t miss this exciting celebration of America’s rail heritage brought to you by the Historic Pullman Foundation, Metra, the National Park Service, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, and the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners, Inc.!
Argonne will have a booth at the event for both days and will have a poster about train research at Argonne and a battery activity and fuel cell activity showcasing the new innovations that are being considered for powering trains.
Volunteers are needed to help facilitate these activities alongside Argonne Outreach staff. Shifts are available for each of the two days.
Materials and supplies will be provided by STEM outreach staff.
