The Women in STEM Career Fair is designed to expose and connect our female identifying high school students to women in STEM professions. Powered by the Bolhous Foundation, this fair is a part of our Girls in STEM Initiative that targets our female students attending the 13 Early College STEM High Schools. The Girls in STEM Initiative seeks to expose girls to various STEM careers as well as make connections to women in those careers. The overall goal is to increase the prevalence of girls moving into STEM based careers.
Argonne will have a booth at the fair from 9am-2pm. It will be staffed by 1 outreach staff member, but we would love to have Argonne staff join us for 1 hour shifts if anyone is available and in the area. Great opportunity to talk to Chicago High School Students and you dont need to bring anything except yourself!
