Community Engagement

Impact is one of Argonne’s Core Values. With this as a guiding principle, Argonne employees are welcome to participate in volunteer activities that positively impact communities.
Community engagement activities include volunteering time at a local foodbank, collecting donations for animal rescue organizations, cleaning up trails at local forest preserves, and providing landscaping service at a family shelter.
These acts are appreciated by our neighbors, provide the Argonne community with opportunities to give back, and foster positive and productive relationships among colleagues.
We establish relationships with local non-profits, identify opportunities to volunteer, share those opportunities with the Argonne community, and facilitate the volunteer initiative.
